OwnerIan is available for appointments on: Monday & Wednesday Mornings weekly. Ian started his hairdressing career 20 years ago. After succesfully completing his hairdressing training in college, he went onto work in a well renowned hair salon in the city of Liverpool for a number of years, but then an opportunity arouse to work with the well renowned hairdresser Charles Worthington in London, and he took this career move in his strade. This gave him the opportunity to work on London Fashion Week, and TV AM amongst others. During his time with Charles Worthington, Ian worked doing inspirational seminars at Salon international. Ian & his brother Paul owned a Toni & Guy franchise on Dame St for 10 years. They recently left to open their much anticipated 'Davey Davey' salon. They have appeared on programmes, such as RTE’s “Off the Rails” and on TV3, and have also attended the Cannes Film Festival looking after Martin Scorsese. In June of 2011, Ian reached the Grand Final of the coverted "L'oreal Mens Colour Trophy" and came Runners up at his first attempt, his inspiration for the look come from the Kooples clothing Brand. In June of 2012, Ian again reached the Grand Final of the coverted "L'oreal Mens Colour Trophy" and came Runners Up in the competition, his inspiration for this look came from the 1950's era, with a Rockabilly Style. In October of 2012, the DaveyDavey Salon is pleased to announce that we won "Website of the Year" at the Schwarzkopf Business Awards, which was held at the Mansion House.
